Principal's Message
Welcome to Daysland School
Daysland School provides a full range of educational programming for approximately 205 Kindergarten to Grade 12 students living in the town of Daysland and surrounding rural areas. Families in the Daysland School community are from predominantly agricultural backgrounds. The town of Daysland has a population of approximately 800 people and is located 45 km east of Camrose. In addition to our excellent academic program we also offer numerous extra-curricular opportunities to greatly enhance the experience of our students.
At Daysland School we believe that every student can be successful. Our mission is to serve the individual educational needs of each of our students and personalize their learning experiences to assist them in achieving their full potential. Parent participation and input are essential elements in providing the best possible educational experiences for our students. By working together we can help them acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes that are required in today’s rapidly changing society.
Our school community benefits from the support of a very dedicated School Council. This parent body is an influential voice in school decisions and also provides vital financial support for many "value added" experiences for our students. Please consider joining this important part of our school community. There are always a lot of great things happening at Daysland School. I invite you to be an active participant in the action!
